There are many reasons celebrities love coming to the beautiful country of Belize. Like everyone else, they enjoy the sea, sand, sun, and plentiful attractions. But beyond that, they enjoy the privacy. Here are just a few celebrities that have been seen in Belize here recently.
When Michael Cobb, Chairman and CEO of ECI Development, first came to Belize in 1993, he saw this “really wonderful and quaint little island with sand streets and mostly empty restaurants”. Today, the country has seen incredible growth and development that has brought real progress to the island in many ways.
Once considered an offbeat destination for backpackers, divers, and fisherman, Ambergris Caye Belize has become a hot destination for world travelers.
At Grand Baymen, we firmly believe that finding ways to meaningfully give back to the community that we call home is one of the most important aspects to be a successful developer.
ECI Development is known for developing inspired residences for adventurous souls across Latin America for more than two decades. Included in our commitment to delivering our residences is also one of our strongest and main objectives and desires - to “go-green” as often as possible.
In Belize there is no shortage of entertainment happening around the country. There are many folks who have discovered Belize’s plentiful attractions, including those in the entertainment industry, who are seeking Belize as their “go-to” haven for fun…and also privacy. Celebrities, like everyone else, enjoy the sea, sand, and sun. Jamie Cain weighs in on which celebrities have been seen in Belize here recently. Some may surprise you.
Along with the plenty of attractions in Belize, there have been a handful of changes made over the years. It doesn’t seem that long ago that I first came to Belize. It was in 1993 when I saw this wonderful and quaint little island of Ambergris Caye. Over the years, I have had the privilege of witnessing the incredible growth and development that has brought real progress to this island in countless ways. Once considered an offbeat destination for backpackers, divers, and fisherman, Ambergris Caye has become a hot destination for travelers, adventure tourists, and thrill seekers from all over the world.
While there is no shortage of entertainment and adventure to be had on Ambergris Caye, at Grand Baymen, there is no shortage of finding ways to meaningfully give back to the community that we call home. One of our main and ongoing concerns is the protection and preservation of the Belize Barrier Reef, and keeping our beaches pristine. Betsy Rosenlund writes about just some of the ways ECI cares for the people of Belize and its environment.
With protection and preservation comes our commitment to build a clean future. ECI’s business model is based on centuries of existence, and developing sustainability is a major priority for us. We commit to conservation efforts for all our communities and give back in ways that have the most impact. And we have implemented many strategies that emphasize reducing, reusing, and recycling.
Until next time,
