Huge congratulations to Kelly German and the entire Exotic Caye Beach Resort team for earning the prestigious award from Trip Advisor. Because the award is based on client comments and customer satisfaction as they report it on the Trip Advisor website, there’s no way to influence the decision. The bottom line is that Kelly and her team deliver a phenomenal experience and do a wonderful job in a tough, tough business.

Diving in Belize – Fly Fishing in Belize – Relaxing in Belize

If you are planning a trip for fly fishing in Belize, or perhaps a dive vacation on Ambergris Caye, be sure and remember “Belize is fun dot com” and you’ll be directed to Kelly and her team. She has some wonderful summer specials right now including Fly Fishing in Belize packages with some of the best guides in the world. If relaxing is more your speed, grab a good book and a hammock in the shade and kick back for the afternoon.

Remember too that December 21, 2012 mark the end of the Mayan calendar and many are saying, the end of the world. I’m not a doomsdayer, but being in Belize on December 21 might still be a good idea. Rooms are booking up quickly. So if you want to be close to the center of the activity, whatever that turns out to be, visit www.belizeisfun.com and make a reservations now.

In 1996, Michael K. Cobb and his business partner formed a company, Exotic Caye International, to provide loans to North Americans purchasing properties in Belize, Honduras, Costa Rica, and throughout the region. With a strong focus on consumer need, Mr. Cobb accurately predicted the growing demand for high quality, residential product for North American "baby boomer" retirees in the region. He led the group into real estate development and created a holding company called ECI Development for several properties, including a resort on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Michael speaks at dozens of international conferences annually about offshore real estate finance, development, and ownership. He was a consultant to The Oxford Club, hosted a weekly radio program, contributes regularly to overseas publications, sits on the board of several international companies, gives counsel to various real estate projects throughout Central America, and serves on the Board of Directors and the President’s Advisory Group for the National Association of Realtors, NAR.
