It’s been revealed that after a successful inaugural year in 2012, the Annual Summer Music Camp is definitely going to be held again. Last year, the youngsters of San Pedro Town were able to participate in an activity that was not only fun, but equipped them with skills to play instruments and learn the art of music.

Playing sports is a popular pastime for the residents of San Pedro Town, with many youngsters already involved in sailing, cycling and basketball; however, football is also played by many of the town’s kids, particularly the boys.

The San Pedro Junior Sailing Club (SPJSC) continues to show that its members really are top of the class when it comes to competition. Having won many awards at previous regattas last year, the club has left the Corozal Bay Regatta having proved itself once again.

As previously reported, Holy Cross Anglican School is currently playing host to a number of volunteer dentists and dental technicians. Several Ambergris Caye dental experts have been joined by those from the US in a program that is supposed to ensure children take care of their teeth and gums.
