Any expat living in Belize will be quick to relay all the fantastic qualities this nation provides. It is appealing because the native language is English, it is a tax haven and there is a great retiree program in place. Moreover, Belize has a diverse and cultural landscape for people to explore. This makes relocating to Belize the number one priority for many people who seek a better way of life.

The first thing that strikes many people upon their arrival in Belize is the country’s beauty. Certainly, destinations like Ambergris Caye provide an absolutely stunning sight to behold, with sandy beaches, palm trees and turquoise waters softly breaking over the island’s famed Mesoamerican Reef. The beauty doesn’t stop there; in addition to having the planet’s second largest barrier reef, there is nature everywhere. Colorful flowers, trees and birds can be spotted in all directions. The Maya Mountains and soft flowing rivers provide a blissful and breathtaking backdrop to everything, and with ancient Mayan ruins scattered throughout, there is always something new to discover.
